This special showcase celebrates the incredible potters and glass artists who made Art Soup such a success. Unlike Art Soup, this event isn’t just about bowls — artists will be sharing and selling a full range of their work: functional pieces, sculptural art, experimental creations, and deeply personal work.
Reading While Grieving is designed for readers who are living with loss. Each month, a work of fiction is paired with a non-fiction book about grief, creating a space where emotions and experiences can be gently met and understood. This is a compassionate space for reflection, connection, and meaning-making through reading.
Central Midtown will host a special edition of their Second Saturday Vendors Market, right before Mother’s Day on May 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event will take place at 1260 Dauphin Street in Mobile.

Seanna Mongan, owner of Humble Hope Candle Co., offers both private and public candle-making classes. In addition to her workshops, Mongan also crafts custom orders for weddings, bridal showers, and other special occasions.
