Central Midtown CoWorking Agreement Summary

1. Membership

  • Two types: Dedicated Desk (personal desk) and Open Desk (shared workspace)
  • You’ll have a minimum a 60 days notice rates increase.
  • At Signup, please select automatic drafting. We do not have the manpower to remind you of late payments.

2. Perks

  • Use our address for your business
  • Access the building during specified times (in your Plan)
  • Get an access FOB; more FOBs or guest access may cost extra
  • Discounted rates on renting our meeting and event spaces

3. Your Workspace

  • Open Desk: Shared workspace, chaired chair, dedicated locker, and WiFi access
    (Please do not switch to Dedicated Desks without permission)
  • Dedicated Desk: Your own desk, chair, locker, and WiFi
    • Decorations are okay on dedicated desks, but ask first. No damage to walls!
  • Printing, copying, and scanning have limits (see your Plan)
  • Events happen in the building. We will do our best to minimize disruption

4. Rules

  • Take care of the space and equipment
  • Well-behaved pets allowed with approval
  • No bicycles inside except in designated area
  • Follow the law and our policies
  • No libel or copyright infringement during events
  • We may film/photograph the space for our use
  • Follow our health and safety rules (may include masks, etc.)
  • This is a license to use the space, not a lease

5. Community

  • Be respectful and supportive to others
  • Keep common areas clean
  • Limit noise, use headphones
  • No drugs, smoking, vaping, violence, weapons, or illegal stuff
  • No harassment or discrimination
  • Report problems to our Space Program Director

6. Liability

  • We’re not responsible for lost or damaged items
  • You pay for damage caused by you or your guests
  • Get liability and property damage insurance
  • You’re responsible for claims arising from your use of the space (unless it’s our gross negligence)
  • We’re not liable for special or consequential damages
  • You waive liability for claims against us (to the extent allowed by law)
  • You understand and accept the risks of using the space

7. Termination

  • We will end the agreement if you don’t pay or your conduct materially conflicts with the values and mission of Central Midtown.
  • No refunds if we terminate
  • Take your stuff and leave the workspace clean
